It has now been 23-years that SXSW music, film, and interactive conference and festival has been showcasing trends in culture, exploring all aspects of the art and business of independent musicians and film-making.
Over 1,800 musical acts from all genres around the globe converge on Austin downtown Convention Center to participate in this extravaganza for emerging talents to Showcase their Band.
Like most festivals of this caliber, there are provocative documentaries, conferences, workshops and discussions featuring hundreds of speakers of international stature.
The newest element of this festival is ScreenBurn as part of the interactive portion that focuses on creativity, games programming, social media networks and web design in a 3-day trade show exhibition so there's literally something for everyone.
